A small family business who sold imported products wanted to retire and sell. Full reward for their years of graft. However, as the business had grown organically over time and various family members fulfilled what was needed, a different structure was needed to present for a successful sale.

Using my experience of business disposal and acquisitions we spent time with the family to improve and document their processes such as purchasing and order fulfilment. Disjointed accounting systems were combined into one comprehensive package.

Rather than forging ahead with advertising at the outset, which would have led to a drawn out and frustrating process, I worked with the family to implement cohesive systems which could be presented and easily understood. Hence, when the business was offered it drew immediate interest and a quick sale.
